Chupa Chup was dumped at the pound at seven years old because of allergies. Unfortunately there is concern about the ‘dot’ in her eye and she needs our help to fix it AND keep her eye.
Chupa Chup needs laser surgery on her eye to blast the suspiscious dot and keep her eyesight. Can you help us help her?
Chupa Chup came to us from one of our pound partners after being surrendered due to her family claiming to have ‘allergies.’ It was unclear whether they had her since she was a kitten. She had a funny little dot in one of her eyes and, while it wasn’t quite cancer yet, our ophthalmologists advised that it was only a matter of time before it mutated into something more serious.
The best solution, without removing her eye and compromising her vision prematurely, was to use a laser to disrupt the problematic cells. This specialist procedure came at a cost of $1,456. She had surgery on June 20th and we are hoping that our community can help cover these costs!
