Girls just wanna have fun

Matilda and Mala have been in care for some time now and due to own their special needs are staying permanently in our care to ensure they are able receive any care they may need.

Miss Matilda is paralysed from her waist down and arrived in our care as a kitten, in August will be turning 8 years old!! Matilda requires manual toileting from her foster mum 3-4 times each day and is also now on daily pain medication. She is such a funny and quirky girl who, despite her disability, is able to live a full and happy life with her foster mum and feline foster siblings.

Mala, who came into care after Matilda, was born without her 2 front legs and arrived into our care with her kitten. She does not let this stop her from getting around or jumping up on the bed for a good old nap! Mala is also prone to having seizures but from the help of our fabulous vet, we have been able to help treat her seizures but she still needs ongoing medication to help manage them.

Both girls have fallen head over heals for one another and whilst Mala isn’t exactly a lap cat she does enjoy sitting by her foster Mums feet on the couch whilst watching TV! Matilda on the other hand loves a good snuggle and will often hide under blankets throughout the house giving her foster Mum a heart attack each time trying to find her new and ever growing hiding places! She also loves to sleep with her foster Mum each night up close and personal in her face (she obviously isn’t aware of personal space or boundaries!) You can help sponsor each girl (or both) and help to cover the costs of their on going care and medical needs here.
